The Las Vegas Raiders have fired general manager Mike Maycock with the weekend playoff defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals seemingly sealing his fate. Las Vegas lost 19-26 in the AFC Wild Card game on Saturday, though several NFL media outlets have reported that the Raiders had already made their decision on Maycock several days ago.

He was appointed as GM replacing Reggie McKenzie in 2019 and leaves with a 25-24 record. The Raiders are now searching for both a GM and a head coach, after they passed up the chance to keep on interim Rich Bisaccia. The Raiders issued a short statement, thanking Maycock for his services over the past three years.
