One of the biggest UFC events of the year is just days away from taking place, with the featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski making his final preparations to defend his belt against the hungry and young undefeated Ilia Topuria.
The Australian, considered by many as the greatest fighter to ever compete in the featherweight division, suffered a TKO loss to Islam Makhachev in October in their lightweight championship bout. Now he wants to get back to winning ways, although it won’t be easy, as the Georgian-Spanish Topuria seems determined to make history and become champion for the first title.
Both men are all-around MMA artists, with good striking and ground game. While Topuria has been looking very confident about his chances, Volk will get into the octagon looking to humble him in a five-round clash.
